River Bloom Botanicals began not as a business, but as a heartfelt project between a grandmother and her granddaughter — a way to slow down, connect, and create together.

Hi, I’m Teresa Diaz — founder of River Bloom Botanicals. After more than 35 years in the construction, remodeling, and restoration industry, I found myself searching for a new outlet — something creative, something calming, and something I could share with the people I love most. That’s when my granddaughter and I began experimenting with soapmaking. What started as weekend fun quickly grew into a deep passion, blending my love for hands-on work with my lifelong joy of cooking and crafting.

I soon realized that creating soaps, body butters, scrubs, lip balms, and candles isn’t so different from cooking — it’s all about texture, scent, design, and bringing ingredients together with care and creativity.

At River Bloom, we offer a thoughtfully curated line of handmade bath and body products — but our true passion lies in custom creations. Whether you have a specific color, scent, or design in mind, we love working one-on-one with customers to craft something uniquely yours. No two bars are ever exactly alike, and that’s the beauty of it — every product is made in small batches with intention, care, and a whole lot of love.

We also offer custom gift baskets, men’s and women’s fragrance sprays, and even small-group sessions — perfect for birthdays, bridal parties, or simply a fun day of creating. Our studio can host up to six guests for a truly hands-on experience in the art of self-care.

Every swirl, scent, and design is a nod to my career, my family, and the many people I’ve worked with over the years — all of whom have taught me that beauty is personal, style is individual, and the best things in life are made with love.
